Description

This is an independent contractor role responsible for providing in-person arrival support and ongoing community engagement for clients relocating to Spain. The contractor serves as a welcoming point of contact upon arrival, meeting clients at the airport, escorting them to their new home, and supporting initial settling-in experiences.

In addition to arrival services, the contractor conducts periodic social check-ins and facilitates community engagement to help clients feel supported, connected, and at home. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and collaborates with the relocation services team to ensure a seamless client experience. The role collaborates with the Welcome Experience Concierge team to ensure each welcome experience aligns with the company's standards.

Requirements

Required 
  • Experience in client services, hospitality, concierge, relocation support, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; warm, professional, and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and manage schedules with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable providing in-person support in dynamic, real-world environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Cultural sensitivity and comfort working with international clients
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally as needed
  • Proficiency with basic communication and scheduling tools (email, calendar, messaging apps)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including arrivals outside standard business hours
  • Multilingual abilities (English and Spanish required; additional languages a plus)
Preferred 
  • Experience working with expats, international relocations, or multicultural communities
  • Background in hospitality, lifestyle services, or community engagement
  • Knowledge of local neighborhoods, services, and resources
  • Familiarity with Spain’s relocation or settlement processes

As part of this independent contractor engagement, the contractor will be invited to attend all locally planned community and social events hosted or coordinated by the company. This participation is intended to support collaboration, relationship-building, and familiarity with the community and brand experience.

Attendance at events is not mandatory and does not constitute employment or required working hours. Any participation beyond agreed deliverables will be considered voluntary and non-compensable unless otherwise outlined in the independent contractor agreement.

Performance-Based Bonuses

Per-Event Success Bonus: Additional compensation for client arrivals and in-person engagement visits that meet or exceed the company's satisfaction benchmarks.

* Milestone Bonus: Bonus awarded upon successful completion of a pre-determined set number of client arrivals and in-person engagement visits.

Referral & Growth Incentives

* Client Referral Bonus: Bonus for referrals that lead to new confirmed clients.

* Vendor Referral Bonus: Compensation for introducing reliable vendors or partners that become part of the approved supplier network.

Please Note: This is an independent contractor (autónomo) position. Compensation will be provided on a contractual basis, either per project or event, as agreed upon in advance and outlined in the independent contractor agreement. Contractors are expected to be registered as autónomos in Spain and able to issue invoices for services rendered. Payment will be made upon receipt of invoice and in accordance with agreed payment terms. The contractor is responsible for all applicable taxes, social security contributions, insurance, and business-related expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Meet clients at the airport upon arrival and provide a warm, professional welcome
  • Escort clients to their new residence and assist with initial orientation as needed
  • Serve as an in-person point of contact during the early stages of relocation
  • Conduct scheduled social check-ins to support client adjustment and well-being
  • Encourage community engagement by introducing local resources, services, and events
  • Coordinate arrival and follow-up schedules in alignment with agreed deliverables
  • Communicate client updates and feedback to the relocation services team as appropriate
  • Represent the brand professionally and in alignment with service standards
